HallMark Secures FSA Contract for Lots 4 and 8

We are delighted to announce that HallMark Veterinary & Compliance Services has officially signed the FSA contract for Lots 4 and 8. This marks the start of an exciting new phase where we will work closely with Official Veterinarians (OVs) and Meat Hygiene Inspectors (MHIs) to ensure a smooth, professional, and transparent transition for all involved.

We would like to thank the FSA and the incumbent provider for their cooperation and support as we move through this important transition phase.

We understand that this period of change may raise questions, particularly for individuals in scope to transfer to HallMark under TUPE regulations who are currently working in these regions. At HallMark, we are fully committed to ensuring the transition is as seamless as possible for all affected team members.

Key Assurances for Those In Scope of TUPE

Under TUPE legislation, the existing terms and conditions of employment for those in scope will remain protected. Employees currently provided with a company car will have the option to choose either a new vehicle or a car allowance. For eligible team members working on a visa, all necessary steps will be taken to ensure a seamless transfer, allowing for uninterrupted employment. Additionally, HallMark offers a stable and collaborative work environment that values high standards and supports professional growth and development.

What’s Next?

HallMark is working closely with the FSA and the incumbent provider to arrange engagement sessions with local teams and managers. These sessions—conducted both online and face-to-face—will include:

  • Introductions to HallMark and an outline of operational plans.

  • A forum to address questions or concerns regarding the transition process.

Until the transfer is formalised, those in scope of TUPE remain employed by the incumbent provider. Therefore, any immediate queries should be directed to the current employer, who will liaise with HallMark as needed.

To maintain transparency throughout this period, HallMark will also publish regular Q&A updates to ensure individuals remain well-informed.

Our Commitment

HallMark is committed to open communication and collaboration throughout this process. We look forward to meeting and working with all transferring team members to continue delivering the high standards of veterinary and compliance services that HallMark is known for across the industry.
